Monarch is an original and namesake cocktail created by Kate Malmstrom during her many years spent at Monarch and the Milkweed. Kate was a meaningful leading team member and ambassador of Monarch, and this cocktail (and now MILKWEED® gummy!) is one of her legacies. Pineapple, cinnamon, live rosin and bitter cannabis terpenes are all used when making our MILKWEED® gummy. MILKWEED® Cannabis Confections was born at "Monarch and the Milkweed," a former staple of the Burlington, Vermont restaurant landscape. Opened in 2016 by chef owner Andrew LeStourgeon, "Monarch and the Milkweed" was known for its fiercely creative cocktail menu and as the home to MILKWEED® Cannabis Confections.
